In Clice, each user can have tags.

A tag is simply an attribute attached to a user’s profile, visible in the Users section when you click on a specific user.


Adding a tag

A tag can be assigned to a user in three ways:

  1. By the Chatbot’s AI.

    The chatbot can automatically decide to assign a tag to a user if it determines that a message warrants it.

    Our system applies some tags by default, but you can also configure your chatbot to assign custom tags in specific situations.

  2. Via the API.

  3. Manually, by selecting a user in the Users section.


Why tags are useful

Tags are helpful for two main reasons:

  1. Segmenting users based on their tags.

Removing a tag

Each tag is automatically deleted after one month, but you can remove it earlier, either manually or via the API, using the route:
