1. Definition

There are two types of campaigns to clearly distinguish in Clice:

• Broadcasted campaign: you send it once to an entire segment of users.

  Useful for announcements, feedback collection, changelogs, advertisements, etc.

• Triggered campaign: you create the campaign without sending it immediately. Clice provides you with an API endpoint that you can call whenever you want to send it to a specific user.

  Useful for sending messages based on concrete user actions in your application.

Your users receive both types of campaigns the same way within your app.

2. Deletion specifics

• When you delete a broadcasted campaign, you do not immediately recover its quota in your resources. It will be restored at the end of your subscription period.
• When you delete a triggered campaign, you immediately recover its quota — this is the only way to free up the quota of a triggered campaign.
